Materials and techniques: All Tavassi Capri ceramic collections are created using the double firing method: the first transforms raw clay into terracotta and the second, which is carried out after glazing and decorating with lead-free colors and glazes for food at 940 degrees Celsius.
In the Faro Punta Carena line there are sculptural elements that refer to this seaside resort of Anacapri. Here the summer never ends, the sun falls asleep in the waves kissed by the sea dressed in blue with emerald green reflections. Along the horizon fishermen go hunting for squid and octopus, while the lighthouse with its light illuminates the route to follow.
The Punta Carena collection consists of ceramic plates with octopus, serving plates or wall decorations, which also become centerpieces. The blue background fades into green and recalls the sea of Punta Carena while the hands of the ceramist Gennaro Tavassi model the clay giving life to octopuses that seem to cling to the everyday ceramic objects embellished with corals and shells.
The Punta Carena Tavassi Capri line is also enriched with home furnishings with large corals, candle holders and lamps with sculptural elements depicting corals. These ceramic items are sold individually.
The Tavassi Capri Punta Carena line consists of serving plates or ceramic wall plates measuring (insert measurements) in an oval shape. Flat plates are sold individually.
